Directly at Veletržní 42, the popular bakery Eska from the Ambiente network opened its second branch in February 2025. The Letná Eska focuses on fresh baked goods and farm products. The menu includes the renowned 33 and 66 breads, sweet rolls, buns, cakes, soft-serve ice cream with curd bun flavor, and specialty coffee. The space is smaller than in Karlín, but it offers cozy seating and the opportunity to purchase products from local farmers.

Just a few steps from Veletržní 42 is Veletržní Palace, one of the most important functionalist buildings in Prague. It was built between 1925 and 1928 according to the designs of architects Josef Fuchs and Oldřich Tyl as an exhibition space for trade fairs. In 1974, it was severely damaged by fire, but after reconstruction it became the seat of the National Gallery. Today, you can admire works by masters such as Picasso, van Gogh, Klimt, or Kupka here, and visit exhibitions of contemporary art.
